RELV DEALER OF RECORD PROGRAM
The RELV “Dealer of Record” (DOR) program is designed to support and reward those Dealers who understand what RELV can provide to their customers and are actively pursuing business opportunities within the Defense, Law Enforcement and Commercial sectors.
How it works
- Initial Sale – To qualify for DOR status, the Dealer must initiate the business opportunity by visiting their customer, physically demonstrating the RELV ECLIPSE product(s) or by committing a significant amount of time into educating the customer on RELV ECLIPSE products. The Dealer should fully document the work they have done with their customer. This record should be a combination of written documentation with supporting photos and video. This is very important when applying for DOR preferred pricing.
- Marketing Materials – RELV Marketing materials, i.e. white papers, slick sheets, and media WILL be provided to the Dealer for use in their sales efforts. However, Dealers WILL NOT be provided the actual RELV ECLIPSE product. This must be purchased by the Dealer.
- What qualifies for DOR? – Not every DOR request will qualify; simple customer inquiries, Request For Quote (RFQ) responses, someone simply asking for pricing, or if a RELV product is requested on an existing bid, does not qualify for DOR pricing.
- Move fast – All DORs are first-come, first-served.
- Each sales opportunity requires a new DOR request – The DOR pricing is awarded on a case by case basis. When a Dealer is granted DOR pricing for one deal, it does not mean the Dealer has been granted perpetual DOR pricing on associated RELV products or follow on deals, even with the same customer. Each new sales opportunity requires a new request for DOR.
- Accountability – RELV is not liable for the loss of a bid due to the Dealer’s final bid price.
- We are on the move – If RELV initiates the sale, no DOR’s will be accepted.
How to submit the DOR request
- As the Dealer initiates a sales opportunity with on-site demonstrations of RELV products or by putting in a significant amount of time educating and selling to a customer, the Dealer must document their work. No DOR pricing will be awarded without documentation of the sales effort.
- The Dealer submits copies of the documentation of the work they have done with the customer to support their request for DOR Pricing. Documentation should be emailed to [email protected]
- Dealer must complete and submit a RELV Dealer of Record form. (See below)
- RELV will confirm that all documentation and the submitted DOR form have been received.
- If all of the criteria is met, the Dealer will granted DOR pricing on the individual sale.
- Dealer will receive a notification if their DOR application has been approved or declined.
